Gabriel Bankier Plotkin is a partner at Miller Shakman & Beem LLP, a litigation firm in Chicago. A former federal public defender, Gabe has significant experience representing clients in federal criminal matters. He also represents a wide variety of clients in commercial disputes in both state and federal court, including in litigation involving contract disputes, corporate and partnership disputes, fraud, and RICO allegations. In addition, Gabe has advised numerous lawyers and law firms on issues of ethics and malpractice. Gabe is a graduate of Yale Law School and currently teaches a clinical course on criminal justice at the University of Chicago Law School.
