Will I get to meet any Members of Congress?

If you want to meet some of the cannabis industry’s legislative champions, you need to provide NCIA permission to invite you to the NCIA PAC Fundraiser, which multiple members of Congress are expected to attend. However, members of Congress are extremely busy, so don’t expect to meet your Congressional representatives in person during your Lobby Days meetings. Meetings with congressional staffers are just as important — if not more than — meetings with Senators and Representatives themselves.

Will I be lobbying with other cannabis professionals?

Yes, all Lobby Day participants will be broken up into small “teams” who will stay together for the two days of Capitol Hill meetings. We are currently collecting registrations from our members to determine how many teams we’ll have this year.

Is there an app for the event?

Yes, we will be utilizing software this year that shows your schedule. Visit the App Store and download ‘Advocacy Day Assistant’. After downloading the app, scroll down and select ‘National Cannabis Industry Association’. Next, enter the email you used to register for NCIA’s Lobby Days and enter the password “ncia”. Make sure you ALLOW notifications!
