Randy Maslow is a cofounder and President of iAnthus Capital, which owns and operates best-in-class licensed cannabis cultivation, processing and dispensary facilities throughout the United States. iAnthus currently operates licensed facilities in Massachusetts, New York, Florida, Vermont, Colorado and New Mexico, and is expanding its footprint aggressively in states with limited licenses and barriers to entry. Founded by entrepreneurs with decades of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, law, cannabis operations and health care services, iAnthus provides a unique combination of capital and hands-on operating and management expertise. iAnthus is publicly-traded on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
Prior to cofounding iAnthus in 2014, Randy was a veteran technology industry attorney, senior executive, and entrepreneur with more than 25 years’ experience as General Counsel to rapidly growing companies in emerging industries. Randy served as General Counsel at one of the earliest online travel companies, and then joined the startup management team as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of the early nationwide internet service provider that became XO Communications, whose fiber-optic network business was acquired by Verizon in 2016 for $1.8 billion. In 2003, Randy co-founded Internet Gaming Entertainment U.S. (“IGE”), which pioneered the currency exchange business for virtual assets in multi-player online games and became a leading worldwide publisher of multi-player computer game content, with 400 employees in the U.S. and Asia and over $100 million in annual revenue.
Randy is a graduate of Cornell University and the Rutgers University School of Law, where he was an editor of the law review and graduated with honors. Prior to entering the tech industry, Randy was an attorney in private practice in Florida with the law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP, and previously with the Philadelphia law firms White and Williams and Blank Rome.
