Catalyst Conversations: Opportunities for HBCUs in the Cannabis Industry
NCIA’s #IndustryEssentials webinars are our new weekly educational series featuring a variety of programs allowing us to provide you timely, engaging and essential education when you need it most.
NCIA’s Catalyst Conversations Series is a brand new advanced webinar series curated to give enrollees in our Social Equity Scholarship program the opportunity to network and gain access to valuable knowledge that will help them excel in the cannabis industry.
In this month’s program, we’ll be rebroadcasting a session recently presented at our Cannabis Business Cyber Summit for those who may have missed it!
From this panel gain insight from some of the most successful entrepreneurs in cannabis, on how HBCU, their students, and alumni can take advantage of opportunities to participate in America’s fastest growing industry. Southern University made history as the first HBCU (Historically Black Colleges & Universities) to release its own line of THC medical cannabis products. African-Americans currently make up less than 5% of cannabis business ownership.
