NCIA Committee Insights: The Endocannabinoid System and Cannabis for Industry Employees

NCIA’s #IndustryEssentials webinars are our new weekly educational series featuring a variety of programs allowing us to provide you timely, engaging and essential education when you need it most.

The NCIA Committee Insights series showcases content produced in partnership with one of our 15 member-led committees.

In this webinar, members from the Scientific Advisory Committee will provide an overview of the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) in a manner that is easy for a general audience to understand. After attending this webinar, you will have a greater understanding of the ECS, how cannabinoids interact with the ECS, and how cannabinoids in various products on the market are metabolized.

A better understanding of these topics will equip budtenders and other industry staff with the knowledge to have more productive conversations about cannabis with customers and patients. We will also have a serious conversation about what budtenders should and should not say to customers and patients.
