The NCIA-PAC is the most-respected federal Political Action Committee (PAC) for cannabis industry professionals and provides contributions to candidates for public office who support forward-thinking reforms that respect state cannabis laws and protect the legal industry. Like any other industry PAC, the NCIA-PAC is vital to the political future of the emerging cannabis sector and gives cannabis professionals a united voice in the political process.
The NCIA-PAC maintains no overhead costs so that 100% of donations are used to support industry-friendly candidates and build the political influence of our emerging business sector. Contributions from $1 to $10,000 support in fighting our important and sometimes difficult legislative battles on the Hill. Every dollar helps us reach our goals.Learn More About the NCIA-PAC

NCIA-PAC is a critical component of NCIA’s lobbying efforts. Corporations are prohibited from making direct contributions in connection with federal elections, but certain leaders and employees of business and organizations can establish a PAC to pool their political contributions and support candidates. NCIA-PAC does that for our industry. NCIA-PAC is nonpartisan and supports federal candidates who are open to the challenges and concerns our industry faces, support cannabis reform at the federal level, and introduce or support pro-cannabis legislation.
All PAC contributions are used to support political candidates or committees. PACs can contribute up to $5,000 to a federal candidate committee per election (primary, general, or special). PACs may receive up to $5,000 from any eligible individual, PAC, or party committee per calendar year. A current NCIA-PAC financial report is available to NCIA members upon request.
NCIA-PAC gives our members a voice in supporting legislators who help the industry and allows us to share the compelling stories of our members with elected officials. The PAC also strengthens our success on issues of importance to our organization and the industry as a whole. These successes help us compete, grow our industry, promote helpful policy, and defeat harmful legislation.
Federal campaign finance laws require NCIA to get permission from an authorized representative of your NCIA member business before we can ask you for contributions. If your business is not yet an NCIA member, join today. NCIA members interested in getting involved with the PAC should contact us at email@example.com or (888) 683-5650.
