NEW YORK—(August 26, 2020)— Clio Cannabis, the awards program that celebrates creators at the forefront of cannabis marketing and communications, today announced the industry leaders who will determine the program’s winners in 2020. The group is comprised of leading creative talent from top cannabis brands, services, and dispensaries, as well as the agencies who are setting the high mark for work in the industry.
“As the world faced a crisis that caused many traditional businesses to shut down this year, the cannabis industry was deemed an essential service,” said Michael Kauffman, Director, Clio Cannabis. “It’s a huge transition for any sector to go from subversive to vital in such a short time and it has been the responsibility of the marketers in this space to shift cultural norms, work towards social justice and introduce a wide variety of new products to consumers. The creators who are leading this change deserve to be rewarded and we are so honored to be able to assemble this group of leaders to select the year’s most outstanding work and set the bar for what’s next.”
