Now available for Cannabis Growers from Cermetek Microelectronics a new agricultural tool called LeafMon. This new instrument, developed by the BioEngineering and Ag Deptartment of UC Davis, has been tested extensively by Almond, Walnut, and Grape growers to monitor plant stress. The relative health of the plant can now be monitored remotely on-line by the cannabis grower using the LeafMon-AquaMon system.
This new “Ag Tool” enables the grower to maximize yield and/or quality by controlling the plants water stress level. By monitoring the crop water stress index of the plant, irrigation, fertigation, and for indoor growers, light levels can be precisely controlled to achieve the desired level of plant stress.
This instrument has been employed for field research in orchards throughout California for the past few years. It is now being made available commercially by Cermetek for cannabis growers and researchers.
