We talk about the medical cannabis programs in various states, and they’re all unique, some are called “caregiver” programs where one must register as a patient. There’s not necessarily anonymity like you have in adult-use cannabis dispensaries. So we ask, how does a medical cannabis patient know their private medical information is being protected? we also dive into what can medical cannabis patients do to furtther protect themselves. As well as who do they ask, and what can they do to lower the risk of their private information being unprotected as medical patients. We try to find out if this is the dispensary’s responsibility, too.
