Known as the godmother of cannabis industry recruiting, Kara has been an HR professional for over 20 years. Her career has spanned multiple Fortune 100 companies and start-ups in a wide range of industries. Kara also sits on NCIA’s Human Resources Committee currently as chair emeritus.

Joanna Monroe is a senior executive, C-Suite adviser, and board director with a proven track record of helping companies transform and grow profits while reducing risk. With close to 25 years in staffing, she is an expert on human capital management, human resources, and employment law and is highly regarded for implementing large scale operational, compliance, and legal initiatives that contribute to high-performance business results and improve the bottom line.
