Allison Disney has been architecting consumer experiences and telling brand stories for more than two decades. She has dedicated the last seven years to the cannabis industry, partnering with operators to build new-to-the-world brands and execute first-of-their-kind advertising campaigns.
Inspired by the evolving relationship between consumers and cannabis, Allison co-founded MixMix, a THC drink mix made to enjoy wherever the good times take you. What began as a strategic pilot within Illinois’ regulated marijuana framework has since scaled into a direct-to-consumer brand with a national footprint. As a consultant, she leans into her deep expertise in highly regulated, fast-moving categories to help purpose-driven founders build distinctive, customer-driven strategies.
A recognized thought leader, Allison’s work and insights on the future of the industry have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Forbes, Ad Age, and High Times.
Deeply committed to industry advocacy, Allison believes that bold creativity is essential to shaping the future of the trade. She serves as Chair Emeritus of the NCIA’s Marketing and Advertising Committee, a Founding Board Member of the Cannabis Media Council, and a member of the Executive Board for the Center for Disability and Elder Law.
