JORDAN ISENSTADT, SECRETARY

Jordan Isenstadt is a Senior Vice President at Marino and the founder of the firm’s award-winning cannabis practice, which he established nearly a decade ago and has since grown into one of the most respected and enduring communications offerings in the industry. Jordan leads strategic PR, regulatory communications, and influencer engagement for companies across the entire cannabis supply chain — including cultivators, manufacturers, beverage brands, retailers, MSOs, technology platforms, and ancillary service providers. His work is grounded in a rigorous regulatory lens, allowing him to guide organizations through complex policy environments with clarity, compliance, and long-term strategic foresight.

A committed advocate for equity and representation in cannabis, Jordan is proud to support a wide range of social equity operators, legacy-to-legal entrepreneurs, and female-founded brands. His counsel blends high-level strategy with practical execution, reflecting a broader career defined by public service, government communications, and mission-driven work.

Before joining Marino, Jordan served as the Global Chief Communications Officer for Ducere, an Australian digital learning start-up with a faculty of globally recognized leaders, including General David Petraeus, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Atari founder Nolan Bushnell, and former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. Previously, as Deputy Director of the Association for a Better New York (ABNY), he managed daily operations, coordinated initiatives with more than 300 member organizations, and oversaw ABNY’s influential “Power Breakfast” series featuring U.S. presidents, cabinet officials, governors, mayors, and top business innovators.

Jordan began his career in government, serving as a New York State press officer, Communications Director to State Senator Liz Krueger, and Chief of Staff to State Senator Toby Ann Stavisky, with additional experience on numerous political campaigns at the city, state, and federal levels.

Jordan is also the founder of Jews in Weed, a national community initiative that has become a defining cultural and networking force within the cannabis industry. Through high-visibility events and year-round programming, the group celebrates Jewish identity, fosters belonging, and elevates under-represented voices across the sector.

Honored as a City & State “Rising Star,” Jordan holds a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and an MPA from CUNY–Baruch College. He lives on Long Island with his wife, Lauren, and their two children, Reese and Gavin.
