Where the Cannabis Business grows its Brand!

Juanadomain.com founder John Magavern created the Juanadomain marketplace to assist new start-ups, investors, advertisers and anyone interested in the cannabis industry the opportunity to acquire both a premium domain as well as a great brand. Having a premium domain is the single most important aspect of launching a successful online business. A premium domain will lend both credibility and authority to your brand as well as establishing immediate name recognition.

“Our domains have been hand selected for their premium quality and offer great potential brands for all niches of the cannabis marketplace. Unlike many of our competitors, we have gone the extra mile by offering both premium domains as well as corresponding logos”. They have both keyword and brandable domains available. “As the owner of Juanadomain.com I knew I wanted to be involved in the rapidly growing cannabis industry. With the federal laws still making it illegal, I liked the idea of entering in to a space where I wouldn’t deal directly with the product. I had dabbled in domains and decided to enter this niche of the market. I am strong advocate of Legalized Marijuana for both the Medical Marijuana market as well as the Adult-Use recreational markets. I am a proud member and supporter of the NCIA’s efforts in making this a reality. It has proven to be successful in treating numerous medical conditions as well as being helpful in PTSD among our Vets. I also believe it has the potential to play a strong role in slowing, and hopefully someday eliminating the Opioid crisis. As for the recreational side, it is my strong opinion that it is far less damaging than the Adult-Use of Alcohol and should be the legal right of any one old enough to vote. Like anything it is all about the individual user and their ability to use it in a responsible manner.”

Here’s a sampling of some our premium domains and logos!

Owning the best possible domain name for your business is beneficial in every way. A simple domain name that is easy to remember and fits well on a business card or advertisement will initiate the processes of trust-building and customer acquisition. Domain names can be extremely valuable due to the long-term impact they will have on your branding and marketing. They offer a snapshot into the type of business, service or product you are selling and are often your first impression to potential online customers. Since dot-com is the most popular domain extension and so many dot-coms are already taken, many investors and entrepreneurs choose to start with the domain, purchasing a premium dot-com to use as a brand for their new business, giving them a head start on their long-term marketing goals. Some companies also use certain alternative extensions as an ideal branding opportunity based on their region: for example “.co” could serve as a reference to Colorado, and “.la” could serve as a reference to Los Angeles. Deciding which extension is the best fit for your business often comes down to your plans for future growth: if you are looking to build a national brand, dot-com will most likely get you the farthest. However, if you are focused on local business, a domain name extension that emphasizes your region could help you stand out among your competitors.

If you haven’t been to their site yet, hit them up at https://www.juanadomain.com Some of the Cannabis industry’s best domain names and branding opportunities available. We have chosen to work with Escrow.com, an industry leader in the online escrow services. They offer a highly secure payment gateway and have become the industry standard. 2018 promises to be a very fast paced and productive year in this budding industry. AFTER MORE THAN 20 YEARS IN BUSINESS, LOCAL BUSINESS SERVICES COMPANY GETS A NEW NAME (Portland)

Change can be scary, it can also be important. After 20 plus years serving local businesses in Oregon, The HR Group/WedoHR realized they’d outgrown their old name, The HR Group/We Do HR and wanted a brand that reflects not only the comprehensive suite of services that they provide, but one that fits the company’s mission and values. After a great deal of soul searching, and to be honest, domain hunting, the company landed on The Caputo Group, honoring the family that built this locally owned, family-run business from the ground up.

“Our family’s name means a lot to us-it symbolizes integrity and hard work; high-quality, trustworthiness-and also a sense of humor,” said Hunter Caputo, CEO of The Caputo Group. “It was important to me that this was conveyed in our new brand. I’m proud of the company my family built, and look forward to sharing our services and story with our community.”

Leafbuyer Technologies Launches “SIMPLE SEARCH,” Revolutionary Consumer Search Tool

DENVER – Leafbuyer Technologies, Inc. (LBUY) (“Leafbuyer”), a leading cannabis technology platform, announced the launch of its search portal, SIMPLE SEARCH. This tool will make it easier than ever for cannabis consumers to find local dispensaries, special offers, and their favorite products. This technological development places Leafbuyer ahead of the industry in online search technology. Leafbuyer’s marketing and development teams spent nearly a year analyzing the most successful online shopping and deals platforms, which led to the development of SIMPLE SEARCH.

“Modern shoppers in any industry want efficient tools they can use to evaluate their options before stepping foot into a retail store. We knew that we needed to enhance our searching mechanism to stand out from our peers, while making it as intuitive as possible. I expect that this new tool will perfectly suit the needs of the modern cannabis consumer,” said Mark Breen, Leafbuyer’s VP of Business Development.

SIMPLE SEARCH allows consumers to search through eight different product categories (e.g. Flower or Cartridges), with additional subcategories (e.g. Indica or High CBD), while using sliders to select THC/CBD levels and pricing. Furthermore, Leafbuyer’s dispensary clients can highlight new and attractive offers by purchasing “featured deal” listings for common searches like concentrate deals in Seattle, WA. The website redesign sports entirely new features: consumers can easily search through hundreds of local dispensaries’ menus to find the flower, edibles, concentrates, tinctures, topicals, or prerolls they seek. Best of all, consumers can search through deals or menus for specific brands or strains. For example, in just a few seconds a cannabis patient in Oregon could find the best menu pricing on ounces of hybrid flower, search for popular strains like Girl Scout Cookies, or find deals on their favorite edibles brand.

Leafbuyer CEO Kurt Rossner anticipates that the SIMPLE SEARCH function will lead to accelerated growth. “This is the biggest enhancement to our site in company history. We are hopeful that our consumers will find significant value in these new and improved tools. Our dispensary and product clients in over 7 legalized states will experience the greatest benefits. This enhanced platform is specifically designed to drive more Leafbuyer.com consumers to our clients.” He added that the advancement complements other recent additions to the Leafbuyer platform. “From a business point of view, this new tool will add significant advertising inventory to our platform. Many of our current customers have expressed interest in advertising opportunities that were very specific to hyper-local needs. This new tool will nearly double the advertising opportunities that our customers will have to interact with the millions of cannabis consumers that are exposed to the Leafbuyer brand every month. We are very excited about the future revenue growth possibilities that SIMPLE SEARCH can help provide. This enhancement is just another step in our strategy to broaden our online platform and roll it out to a nationwide audience of cannabis consumers.”

Cannabis Cultivation Technologies Innovator urban-gro Invests in Internet of Things Pioneer Edyza

urban-gro makes investment in IoT company to jointly develop a new class of wireless sense and control technology LAFAYETTE, COLO. AND IRVINE, CALIF. (PRWEB) SEPTEMBER 19, 2017 urban-gro, a leading Cannabis cultivation technologies company delivering best-in-class systems, solutions, and technologies for large-scale commercial cultivators across North America, today announced it has invested in Edyza, Inc., a pioneer in the use of high-density wireless sensors in horticulture among other industries.

With this minority-stake investment, Edyza has assigned agriculture-specific patents to urban-gro and has granted global rights to its wireless technology for the Cannabis industry and the broader controlled-environment agriculture (CEA) market to drive better Return-On-Investment (ROI), increased yield, and improved operational efficiency. Edyza’s High-Density Internet of Things (HD-IoT) solution enables extremely low-power wireless sensor networks that deliver data with the scale, precision, and resolution needed for machine learning. When used throughout the life-cycle of Cannabis cultivation and logistics, these sensors give immediate insight into the cultivation operations to make better informed decisions. Through the service, the entire staff from grower to investor can remotely monitor key metrics, including substrate moisture and EC (electrical conductivity) levels on a per plant basis, humidity, temperature, and VPD (vapor pressure deficit) in the plant canopy and throughout the growing environment, and analyze water flow and pressure at key points in the fertigation system.

The platform will be accessible through any Web browser, Android and iOS devices, and can even be displayed on large screens within the operational and management offices and tablet screens throughout the facility. urban-gro already sells large-scale control system infrastructure and will now be able to incorporate a new generation of wireless capabilities transforming the way cultivations operate today. “As our industry continues to grow and mature, success will be measured by how cultivators can employ new strategies and technologies to modernize their operations,” said Brad Nattrass, CEO at urban-gro. “Edyza’s wireless innovations are exactly what the Cannabis industry needs today and our leadership role in the market makes us well-positioned to introduce these capabilities and help drive the digitalization of horticulture as a whole.” “We built our capabilities to apply to industries that are at the frontier of automation and augmentation using IoT data,” stated Atul Patel, CEO and co-founder of Edyza. “With the significant opportunity and relevance of our technology in precision agriculture, we are thrilled to partner with the team at urban-gro for its deep industry expertise, distribution network, and hardware deployment know-how.” With the strategic relationship, the two companies will jointly build a broad range of sensing and actuation hardware and big data and automation software that incorporate Edyza’s HD-IoT stack.

These products include per-plant sensing, environmental monitoring, machine diagnostics, fertigation management, lighting controls, inventory management, and seed-to-sale tracking, which put together offer an unprecedented end-to-end platform for connected agriculture.

Surna, Inc., has become a leader for indoor grow cultivation through its expertise and technology developments in climate control and biosecurity systems. “Surna was founded by two dreamers in a garage who saw a way to dramatically decrease energy and water usage for indoor grows while economically optimizing efficiency and crop yield,” said Jamie English, Director of Marketing for Surna. “We have rapidly advanced from a startup to a publicly-traded agtech company with a team of experts and leading industry partners, and we want the Surna brand to reflect our growth.”

Cannabis Trainers Develops the World’s First State-Approved Responsible Cannabis Vendor Training Program, Launches California Expansion

Cannabis Trainers, the company behind the first responsible cannabis vendor training program approved by state regulators anywhere in the world, is expanding into the promising California cannabis market ahead of full legalization in 2018. Cannabis Trainers’ first California class, a ServSafe® food safety training tailored to the needs of the state’s cannabis-infused product retailers and manufacturers, will be held on September 20 at East Anaheim Community Center in Anaheim, California. Helmed by nationally recognized training certification expert Maureen McNamara, Cannabis Trainers’ engaging, comprehensive workshops are positioned to become a vital part of the movement to bolster professional integrity and regulatory compliance within California’s cannabis industry, which experts have predicted will earn $7 billion a year.

Cannabis Trainers’ California expansion is part of a growing movement to train and certify the tens of thousands of cannabis employees who will be the backbone of California’s extensive marijuana industry ahead of the launch of the state’s recreational marijuana market on January 1, 2018. Such efforts highlight the financial potential, but also the potential risks, for California’s newly regulated marijuana businesses. “In few other industries could a frontline employee crumble an entire business with a single mistake,” says McNamara. “We aim to honor California’s cannabis pioneers by fusing their decades of hard work with cutting-edge approaches to safety and compliance.”
McNamara, a professional training expert who over 25 years has trained and certified more than 15,000 employees, managers, and owners in the hospitality and other industries, launched Cannabis Trainers in Colorado in 2014 after she noticed edibles manufacturers, desperate for guidance, joining her food safety classes. Covered by the likes of NPR, The Washington Post, Reuters and Newsweek, the company now runs two separate compliance training programs fine-tuned to the regulatory requirements and operational realities for the cannabis industry.
  • ServSafe® is a customized version of the National Restaurant Association’s food safety certification program based on the FDA food code that McNamara designed for the needs of retailers and manufacturers of cannabis-infused products.

  • Sell- SMaRT™ is Cannabis Trainers’ proprietary education program for budtenders, managers, owners and consultants covering all aspects of cannabis sales, from checking IDs to consumer safety.
In 2015, Sell- SMaRT™ became the first state-certified cannabis vendor training in the world when the program received the Colo. Department of Revenue Marijuana Enforcement Division’s first approval for its innovative Responsible Vendor Program. All of Cannabis Trainers’ courses are filled with McNamara’s signature blend of humor, enthusiasm, and interactive programming, making them feel less like staid corporate trainings and more like engaging sessions of improv.

Cannabis Trainers’ ambitious California expansion, will begin with its 3.5-hour September 20, 2017 ServSafe® course for cannabis producers at East Anaheim Community Center. Covering the latest developments in food safety research and the FDA Food Code compliance, but tailored to the unique professional demands of the evolving regulated California cannabis market, the course will teach attendees how to help ensure customer health, enhance product integrity, improve employee performance, and protect their businesses.

NCIA members receive a discounted rate for both ServSafe® and Sell-SMaRT™ classes.

Cannabis professionals interested in registering for the September 20th class should visit www.cannabistrainers.com.

WANACAPSXR LAUNCHES CLASS SPECIFIC OPTIONS

WanaCapsxr, a family of extended release cannabis capsules that provide medicinal benefits for up to 12 hours, are now available in class specific options–Indica and Sativa–for the High THC formulation of the product.

Class specific products allow patients more options for symptom relief, with Sativa known as a more energetic selection, while Indica is associated with a more relaxing effect. Wana Brands, using technology from Cannabics Pharmaceuticals, developed the extended release formula and offers the product in five formulations: High THC Indica, High THC Sativa, High THC Hybrid, High CBD Hybrid and Balanced THC:CBD Hybrid.

All formulations are available in both the medical and adult-use markets. The unique extended release formula allows patients to dose once or twice daily without the frequent need to re-dose. The world’s first extended release cannabis capsules, Wana Brands is expanding the launch of its capsules and other products through partnerships in emerging national and international markets, with plans to enter new markets over the next few years. WanaCapsxr address the desire by some states, such as New York and Maryland, to have their cannabis medicine take the form of traditional non-cannabis medications.

“Offering class specific WanaCapsxr gives patients more treatment options,” said Nancy Whiteman, co-owner of Wana Brands. “It has been incredibly validating to hear from patients about how WanaCapsxr has changed their lives for the better. When taking the capsules, patients report experiencing pain reduction without having to dose every few hours. As more and more communities deal with the deadly opioid epidemic, WanaCapsxr can also offer a pain relief alternative to addictive narcotics.”

THE FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND EXTENDED RELEASE CANNABIS CAPSULE NOW AVAILABLE IN INDICA AND SATIVA, OFFERING MORE CONTROL FOR PATIENTS

The extended release capsules address a major concern of cannabis patients as compared to other forms of ingestion, which is that the initial high peak of cannabinoid activity after administration can cause uncomfortable side effects such as dizziness. Composed from food grade materials, the XR formulation prolongs the effects of the active compounds by 25-35% in comparison to non-formulated capsules, extending the beneficial effects of the capsule up to 12 hours. WanaCapsxr provide a stable and discreet option for patients seeking dosing alternatives. The capsules contain two types of oil-based compounds known as “fractions,” which bind with the cannabinoids in different ways. The first fraction is highly bio-available and provides a quick onset of the therapeutic effects, generally within 20-30 minutes of taking the capsule. This first release of cannabinoids lasts up to six hours. The second fraction then takes effect, releasing the remaining cannabinoids gradually for a steady, long lasting experience.

Wana Brands is the leading edibles company in Colorado, experiencing consistent month-over-month growth of market share in the competitive market. Wana Brands dominates, owning 23% of the Colorado market share, with the next closest competitor at 12%, according to BDS Analytics 2017 May brand share report. In Oregon, Wana is available in 280 of the state’s 375 dispensaries. The company launched in Nevada at the end of 2016, and has partnerships in Arizona and Illinois that will bring its products to those states in Q4 of 2017.

Additionally, Wana Brands will launch in 2018 in Massachusetts and Maryland, and is in discussions with potential partners in California, Florida and Ohio, as well as international markets including Canada. Wana Brands has invested in refining its proprietary edibles recipes so that the taste of the company’s delicious ingredients come through—not the taste of medicine—producing artisan level products that are infused–not sprayed–and have undergone rigorous internal and external testing to ensure precise dosage and consistency.

Many consumers new to cannabis find it challenging to find accurate information about products, prices and where to find the best deals. As an online resource, Leafbuyer helps the consumer research and find answers to cannabis related questions from the privacy of their mobile phone or desktop,” said Kurt Rossner, CEO. “We are excited about the expansion and have deployed sales teams in each market. We continue to believe that face to face interaction with potential and current clients is the best way to gain their trust.”

The number of legal cannabis businesses will continue to explode over the next 5 years. Gaining a competitive advantage over competition will be one of the biggest hurdles that these companies will face. Leafbuyer will continue to help clients gain that competitive advantage by offering the most robust technology platform in the industry. Along with the expansion plans in Oregon, Leafbuyer recently released a list of the most unique dispensaries in Portland.

Founded in 2014, NFB has assembled a team of highly experienced biotech executives and research scientists with over 120 years of pharmaceutical drug development experience. Green Bits Reveals 2016 Recreational Cannabis Sales Patterns

GreenBits512x512Green Bits has studied the 2016 recreational cannabis sales patterns and has found that overall, sales are up – while sales of other leisure consumables, including McDonald’s and Starbucks, are down.

Some notable 2016 recreational cannabis sales patterns show additional data that leads to the conclusion that recreational cannabis sales are on the rise throughout the nation. Sales are at their strongest between July and the end of September, although summer isn’t the only period with strong sales. In fact, three out of the four days that saw the biggest amount of cannabis sold were Fridays before major holidays, such as the 4th of July, Labor Day, and Christmas. Four out of the six biggest sales days were the last weekday in the run up to a holiday weekend, including the aforementioned holidays and Thanksgiving. The boost in sales associated with holiday weekends is a massive 75%, when compared to median sales for that typical day of the week.

GreenBitsInfographic

Of course the most iconic day of the year, April 20th (4/20), is a big day for sales, it was not actually the biggest sales day for recreational cannabis sales. The date was only the third largest grossing sales day of 2016. Most recreational cannabis purchases are made on a Friday, leading to 25 of the 30 top sales days for 2016 being on a Friday. If national holidays are ignored (Christmas, the 4th of July, and Thanksgiving all saw low sales last year), then 14 of the 15 slowest sales days for 2016 were in the month of January. This raises the question of whether people are deliberately focused on ‘clean living’ during that month. By contrast, the end of the year is a bust time for cannabis retailers selling recreational products. During the last three months of the year, same store sales for cannabis at recreational retailers increased by 26 percent. Meanwhile, same store sales at US branches of McDonalds fell by one percent (according to data published by McDonald’s). In addition, US related Starbucks same store sales fell by three percent.

“This data shows that recreational cannabis sales appear to be steadily increasing, and that there is a strong potential for growth as more states approve the use of recreational marijuana,” a Green Bits manager noted. “More and more people are turning to recreational cannabis, instead of using other products – even eschewing alcohol, fast food and caffeine, but appreciating the potentially beneficial effects of cannabis.” Green Bits is a retail management platform for cannabis stores.

Leafbuyer Announces its List of the Top 10 Most Eye-Catching Dispensaries in Seattle

Leafbuyer_BlueSEATTLE– (BUSINESS WIRE)– Leafbuyer, known for its flagship cannabis deals website , which connects cannabis consumers to the best legal marijuana deals in the market, has announced its 2017 list of the “Top 10 Most Eye-Catching Dispensaries in Seattle.”

The list highlights the most aesthetically appealing retail dispensaries in the greater Seattle area and features in-depth interviews with the owners and designers of the storefronts. As the legal cannabis movement continues to grow, dispensary owners are devoting more resources to the appearance of their stores.

Given Seattle’s rich history as an artistic hub, retail stores in the region are also featuring bold designs. “We are seeing a trend in the legal cannabis industry, where dispensaries are working hard to present their unique and striking styles,” said Andre Leonard, Marketing Manager for Leafbuyer.com. “We are thrilled to feature Seattle dispensaries in this article. With such a competitive Seattle market, dispensaries are working harder to set themselves apart from their competitors, as well as developing an artistic atmosphere that resonates with consumers. The combination of intense competition and a history of artistic expression in the Seattle region has driven these vibrant retail locations to create an environment that clearly excites the eye,” Leonard said.

Leafbuyer.com conducted an online survey of Seattle cannabis consumers, asking them to rate the local dispensaries with the most eye-catching presentations. Based on the results of the survey, Leafbuyer.com interviewed the top 10 decision-makers of these highly-regarded cannabis businesses. Consumers can view the interviews to gain in-depth knowledge about Seattle’s leading dispensaries: their history, company philosophy, and the inspiration behind their company design.

Green Bits and Leafly Partner to Help Cannabis Business Owners Provide Better Information to Patients and Consumers

Green Bits, the painless point-of-sale (POS) for cannabis retailers and dispensaries, has partnered with Leafly, the world’s largest cannabis information resource, to provide legal cannabis business owners an easier way to provide patients and consumers up-to-date menu information to help them choose the right product.

By combining Leafly’s process of helping consumers find the right strains and products in a fast, simple, and approachable manner and Green Bits’ painless marijuana POS and compliance software, participating cannabis retail stores will now always have up-to-date menu information available to patients and consumers on the Leafly platform. Some cannabis retailers and dispensaries can spend up to an hour every day manually updating their menus. If menus are not regularly updated, customers could receive inaccurate inventory information and visit a store that no longer has the products they’re looking for in stock. This can result in less customer loyalty and missed revenue opportunities for legal cannabis dispensaries and retailers. By integrating Green Bits POS and compliance software with Leafly’s platform, dispensaries and retailers will always have their menus updated automatically in real-time — empowering legal cannabis retailers to spend zero time updating menus and more time serving customers.

Good Chemistry Nurseries enters Nevada market

good-chemistry-nurseries-newOn the heels of Nevada’s decision to legalize recreational Cannabis use, Good Chemistry Nurseries is bringing its award-winning nursery system and world-class product to Nevada with the launch of a new Reno production facility that will service dispensaries throughout the state.

The announcement was made today by company founder & CEO Matthew Huron. “Launching Good Chemistry Nurseries in Nevada was a logical next step for us based on public support and proximity to our operations in Colorado,” Huron said. “Our company is known for product excellence and Nevada Cannabis users and dispensary owners have strongly encouraged us to bring our high quality flower to the state.”

Good Chemistry Nurseries’ award-winning Cannabis will be located in dispensaries throughout the state of Nevada. Some of the company’s highly acclaimed strains include the legendary exclusive strains Ingrid and Mr. Good Chem, as well as their renowned Sour Diesel, Gorilla Glue #4, Amnesia Haze, XJ-13, OG’er, Durban Poison, Novacaine, Alien Dawg, LSD, Master Kush and Orange Bubblegum.

Huron became involved in the medical marijuana industry when his father and his father’s partner were diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. In 1996, when medical marijuana became available in California, Huron saw firsthand the symptomatic relief patients experienced from this alternative medical treatment. In 2000, he began growing medical marijuana for AIDS patients throughout the state, founding and operating a nonprofit medical marijuana co-op that became one of the most respected and well-known facilities in San Francisco. After 10 years operating the Elmar Lins Compassion Co-Op, Huron moved to Colorado to co-found Wellspring Collective, which caters to seniors with health challenges and provides alternative health services. In 2010, he launched Good Chemistry Colorado, planning the facility infrastructure design and construction, acquiring the necessary financing and directing the resulting work. It is considered to be one of the finest vertically integrated cannabis companies in the state.

Today, Good Chemistry employs a staff of more than 100, operating dispensaries in Denver and Aurora, as well as its new Nevada cultivation. Huron has developed and implemented best practices in the medical and retail marijuana industry, including a Compassion Care Program that enables patients with limited resources to obtain medical marijuana at little or no cost. His enforcement of policies and procedures throughout the company has ensured strict compliance with state and local regulations. Huron has collaborated with local leaders and law enforcement to enhance neighborhood safety and security.

Since 2010, Good Chemistry Nurseries expanded cultivation operations in two large Colorado facilities that are devoted solely to the production of more than 60 strains of marijuana. In addition, they optimized the production of extracts and concentrates through solvent-less processing. Huron is a founding member of the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA). He has served on the Colorado Department of Revenue’s Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division’s (MED) Licensing Authority Advisory Committee, which was charged with advising regulators on the development of production management, tax and other policies pertaining to the use of marijuana.

Good Chemistry Nurseries Chief Production Officer Duncan Cameron says, “Good Chemistry Nurseries is the perfect fit for Nevada, as the state prepares to kick off adult-use operations in the coming year. Our cultivation facility brings together sophisticated cultivation techniques, the latest technology, and a dedicated nursery team to ensure Silver State consumers will find the most consistent highest quality cannabis when they look to Good Chemistry Nurseries.” For more information about Good Chemistry Nurseries Nevada operations, visit http://goodchem.org/nevada/.
