National Cannabis Industry Association’s nominating committee has completed the association’s annual board of directors election and six candidates have been elected to serve on the board for the 2023-2025 term.

Four board incumbents were re-elected this year and two new board members will be joining the leadership team following the election:

It has been an incredible experience being a member for the past 5 years and to see comprehensive reform inch closer and closer with the relentless efforts of the NCIA team and other advocates/organizations. I am truly hoping that in working together with the industry, we will be able to see the descheduling of cannabis within the next few years. I vow to represent small businesses and want to ensure we have a significant place in the industry at the National level. The new board members-elect will join the NCIA executive director and the 12 other elected members at the next board meeting.
